Warranty Policy

Gas Stove

Jyoti (hereinafter referred to as the company) warrants to the purchaser of "Jyoti Gas Stove" (hereinafter referred to as LPG Gas Stove) that the said LPG Gas Stove is free from all defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is valid for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, against any functional and manufacturing defects, subject to the following terms and conditions:

1) The LPG Gas Stove is only to be serviced by the company or its authorized service agent.
2) The service/repairs will be provided at the company’s service center/ authorized service center.
3) The customer shall bear all the conveyance (To & Fro) expenses and other incidental expenses towards service/repairs for products in warranty or out of warranty.
4) The company shall make all endeavors/attempts to carry out the service/replacement of parts, if any, under this warranty at the earliest, but shall not be liable to do so within any specified time.
5) The customer shall carry the LPG Gas Stove to the nearest company service center/authorized service center at his/her own costs and risks.
6) The warranty will continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the original warranty, in regard to the repair/replacement of parts of the LPG Gas Stove.
7) The LPG Gas Stove shall be used strictly for domestic cooking/heating purposes in accordance with the instruction manual. 
8) The company shall not be held liable for any accident, loss, or damage (direct or indirect) to person or property caused by reason of:
A) Repairs/service attended by unauthorized service person.
B) Misuse/abuse or negligence on the part of the person.
C) Misuse or negligence in the use of cooking utensils.  
D) Defects caused by improper/reckless use.  
E) Use of spurious spares/old/non-genuine spares.  
F) Cylinder, valve, pressure regulator, or tubing not conforming to
    the relevant specification.     
9) Failure to comply with any safety precaution or maintenance tip suggested
by the company, as well as the supplier of LPG/ manufacturer of the pressure cooker or any other utensil or appliance used on the LPG Gas Stove. 
10) If the original serial number is deleted/defaced, or altered, the Warranty shall be considered null and void.
11) The valid warranty benefits require the warranty card to be completed and signed by the dealer immediately on purchase and within 10 days of purchase (the customer should register the product on the company website  www.jyotiindia.com/pages/register-warranty).
12) The company will not be responsible for any special consequential damages or loss arising directly or indirectly due to any delay in the performance of this warranty due to causes beyond its control.
13) Parts covered under 1-year warranty terms: Burners, Mixing Tube, Micro Switch, Spark Plugs, Pulse Generator, and Valves. However, wear and tear parts such as Knobs, Gas Joints, Coatings, Paintwork etc., and any visual defects caused by regular usage are not covered under warranty.
14) The decision of the company is final in all cases of complaints.
